Fifi Bijoux - The Ethical Jewellery Brand

Fifi Bijoux : ‘Luxury as it should be; without the blood, sweat and tears’.

In 2006, Fifi Bijoux thrust issues of exploitation and environmental destruction by gold mining into the public arena.

“The fair trade model provides an opportunity to empower mining communities. They are mineral rich and yet most remain in abject poverty”.

Fifi Bijoux works in partnership between businesses, NGO’s and communities. Jewellery is made using gold, silver and diamonds from fair trading small scale mining co-operatives. No child labour or forced labour, cyanide or mercury is used.

Collections

Seasonal collections are launched every six months at London Fashion Week. Fifi Bijoux debuted at Paris Fashion Week in October 2009.

Fifi Bijoux designs ethical jewellery, ethical engagement rings and ethical wedding rings.

Ready-to-wear Ethical jewellery is available as well as bespoke couture designs.

Ethically mined gold, platinum and silver are available.
Ethical, conflict free diamonds are used as well as gemstones from fair trading mines, or those which re-invest profits into the local community.
Fifi Bijoux only sources from programmes who comply to stringent
eco sustainability standards.

10% of profits from the From Little Acorns pendant and Oak Leaf Ring are donated to a child sponsorship programme. This is administered by the Entebbe Women’s Association and funds are used to pay for the education of orphans in the area, many of whom otherwise work in lethal and dangerous mines.

In 2009, Fifi Bijoux launched an exclusive collection for WWF World Wildlife Fund , with designs based on some of the most endangered species, including Tigers, Dolphins, the famous Panda logo and an Amazon Leaf.

The S/S10 Silver Collection is based on ‘Two Hearts Colliding’ and features pieces such as Mile High and Kiss Me Quick.
